Sony will release the CFexpress Type A card in 320GB on October 14th and 640GB on November 11th. The price is 99,000 yen for the 320GB and 187,000 yen for the 640GB (tax included). Previously, the capacity was only 80GB and 160GB, and there was a growing demand for a larger capacity Type A card, mainly from video users. This makes it possible to record large capacity videos such as 8K/30p and 4K/120p for long periods of time. The transfer speed is about 800MB/s for reading and about 700MB/s for writing, which is almost half the speed of the CFexpress Type B card. However, it is small and has Sony's unique tough specifications, with a dustproof structure and high resistance to bending and dropping. The video camera FX-30 announced at the same time is also equipped with a Type A card slot. Tamron will release the 20-40mm F2.8 Di III VXD (Model A062) for Sony E-mount on October 27th. The price is 118,800 yen (tax included). The development was announced in August, but details have now been revealed. The lens consists of 12 elements in 11 groups, including 4 anomalous dispersion lenses, the minimum shooting distance is 0.17-0.29 meters (20-40 mm), the aperture blades are 9, and the filter diameter is 67 mm. The size and weight are 74.4 x 86.5 mm and 365 grams.
