It's been a while... This Monday was Victoria Day, so I went on a trip to Las Vegas! It was my first time in Las Vegas! It was hotter than I expected!! The temperature on the day I arrived was 36°C. It was even hotter than the heat in Vancouver two weeks ago, so hot that my skin was stinging! I ordered an Uber from the airport to the hotel in Las Vegas, but the driver couldn't speak any English, and the pickup text was only in Spanish, so I was worried about what would happen, but somehow they took me to the hotel. When I got off, they said "Thank you!" in English. The Bellagio Hotel is famous for its fountains. There are many hotels in Las Vegas, but wherever you go, there are casinos everywhere. As expected of Las Vegas. On the day I arrived, I put $1 into the slot machine at the Bellagio Hotel, and it came back as $50. Beginner's luck that's what I call it. After that, I went on a tour around the Grand Canyon. I'll write about that in another blog. I used it to supplement my study abroad funds.
